THE LIGHT GARDEN FESTIVAL RETREAT |
Earlier this year, Norton Grounds near Chipping Campden was the unique and beautiful setting for The Light Garden Festival, an intimate 4-day event that offered a space for positivity, conscious celebration, self-discovery, and connection with nature. The vision behind The Light Garden Festival was one of a healing space nestled in nature, where creativity, well-being, and community would illuminate your soul and spark your spirit. The festival back in September this year was a great success, and now, the team are offering a taster of the festival experience, The Light Garden Festival Retreat, on 17 November. This special day retreat is hosted by founders of the festival, Jay and Olivia, at Norton Grounds.
THE DAY RETREAT You will start your day with a nourishing breakfast of fresh juice, coffee, and delicious morning treats before embarking on a guided meditation and invigorating yoga flow with Liv. After a morning of mindful movement and relaxation, indulge in a delightful three-course vegetarian lunch to nourish your body and mind. In the afternoon, learn the art of herbal blending with Nicky Skea, a certified herbalist. Discover the benefits of medicinal plants and create your own personalised elixirs to support your health and well-being.
To conclude the day, you will immerse yourself in a relaxing sound bath with Jan Weston. Experience the transformative power of sound healing as you allow the vibrations to promote deep relaxation and balance. .

OUR FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA AT BUCKLAND MANOR |
We had envisioned the enchanting afternoon tea that awaited, and as we entered, our vision came to life. We were seated in the very best seat in the house for an afternoon tea, by the open fireplace in the cosy sofa in the centre of the beautiful lounge, decorated with twinkling lights, boughs of holly, and plump wreaths… what a festive atmosphere, it was just lovely.

HAWKSTONE BREWS ∙
AN AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE |
Quaint. Picturesque. Tranquil. Words often used about the popular village of Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds, with the gently flowing river running through it, cosy tea rooms, and lovely local shops. Well, we went to Bourton-on-the-Water on Saturday but we can’t use those words to describe our visit… instead, we need these: Edgy. Authentic. Laid-back. Unpretentious. Epic.

AFTERNOON TEA MEETS THE PUDDING CLUB |
We had a wonderful afternoon tea experience at Three Ways House Hotel. Known for their famous-all-over-the-world Pudding Club, the cake layer of this particularly afternoon tea was one we had greatly anticipated. And rightly so… it was utterly delicious! The homemade scones, served with a generous dollop of clotted cream and strawberry jam, were excellent. The sandwiches equally so, featuring a variety of very generous fillings.
